I have a question about DT Jr. and the "adoption"-issues that were discussed.

The cover-story is as follows:

- Natalia Veselnitskaya wants to lobby for lifting the sanctions of the Magnitsky-act, so that US-parents can again adopt kids from Russia.
- The email, what this meeting would be about, was a lie. It was sent to attract DT Jr.'s attention.
- DT Jr. was disappointed when it turned out that Natalia Veselnitskaya only wanted to discuss adoptions.
- Nothing else was discussed.



My question is:

Who hired Natalia Veselnitskaya as a lobbyist?
Whom is she lobbying for?
Who in Russia wants to make it easier for US-parents to adopt kids from Russia?
And why won't this person just come forward and say: "Witch-hunt! I can verify that I hired her to lobby for adoptions!"

We all saw how his explanations for the meeting changed day-to-day. Also the email chain spells it out that the whole thing was designed to hook trump Jr.

Veselnitskaya is most likely a cut-out. The Russians she bought with her were too close to the FSB and money laundering for that meeting to be about just adoption.

2. The topic of the meeting was to lay out a plan...

in which Trump would adopt Putin's policy for ending the sanctions against Russia and for destabilizing NATO and the US government. In return Putin would adopt Trump's suggestion that all kompromat against members of the Trump family be destroyed. So adoption was the main topic.
