(16,950 posts)Apparently typing "corporations" is the default password that gives you instant cred to malign Democrats. When in doubt, type corporations.

(7,809 posts)It looks like eth (like a small d crossed like a t), o, wishbone or upside down lambda, o again, m, capital A.
I usually have to try several of those pictures before finding one I can actually read.

(7,809 posts)One thing I can think of is that I use the indefinite particles ("a" and "an" ) perfectly. The Russian language doesn't have them and it can be tricky for them to be 100% correct in their usage.
I also go by posts that say something like "shouldn't we want good relations with Russia?" without acknowledging that they have been been committing acts of cyber-criminality against the West for who-knows-how-long. Posters who do that go on The List immediately, no matter how long they have been posting or how many posts they've racked up.
Bad grammar, spelling, and complete lack of knowledge in the use of apostrophes does not put a poster on that list.

(23,372 posts)...I do think that there are Democrats who voted for Hillary Clinton and who want the US to pursue peaceful and mutually beneficial relations with Russia.

(14,531 posts)that there are Clinton voters here are all in for Russia? Despite the news about trump and Russia hacking the elections that resulted in her loss. While brushing aside the concern that Russian bots post here.
If you have seen pro-putin posts here, maybe just maybe they are the result of something that is of no concern to you?

(23,372 posts)I haven't personally noticed posts that occur to me as "bot" posts (automatically generated posts, see for instance https://dev.groupme.com/tutorials/bots).
Also, I do think that there are Democrats who voted for Clinton and wish the US to pursue and peaceful and mutually beneficial relations with Russia. That does not mean anything other than that. And it certainly doesn't mean that such Democrats would necessarily be "pro-Putin."
Now, if your concern is that there are somehow paid Russian agents (actual people) posting here - I have no information on that. I'm not sure how one might identify that or prevent it. I don't know how agents of any entity (state or organization) would be identified and prevented from posting. I do think there is a diversity of opinion among actual posters who are not compensated to post by anyone.

(13,421 posts)Those "Bot Spotting" boxes piss me off every time I run across one.
I'm pretty much at a point that unless I recognize the name on the OP I tend to not trust it unless it links to reputable media sourcing. DU and every other online forum seems to be full of new names spouting a lot of divisive or outright outlandish crap that can't be verified in any mainstream media, and that renders it useless to me.
YMMV.
