If a Dem wins we start bashing them, or defending them against bashing. Depending on if they were our choice in the primary.

If it's a Republican we can blame the Dem candidate (if they weren't our losing choice in the primary, of course. That person will always have beat the Republican from what I've seen for the past 20 years!) for the Dem loss. Then we can spend the next four years picking at the wounds of their supporters. If it was our choice in the primary, we blame the losing primary candidate for dragging them through the mud and weakening then.

Meanwhile everyone can argue how wrong everyone else is for not thinking exactly like they do on every single issue, and how their candidate was more qualified/pure than the other person's was.

Then we can point fingers and blame each other for not being willing to see the other persons side. Oh, and we can toss about meaningless political titles for the various factions of the Democratic Party to try and further enrage those who aren't exactly like us. Mustn't forget that fun game, right? It never goes out of style.

There's endless opportunity for hating on politicians and their supporters on the internet. Do keep up! This can, and apparently will, go on infinitely. It's a self fulfilling prophecy of sorts.
