Just Inquiring About Pardons Trump Is Admitting To The American People....

that he lied to them and is guilty of some or all of the accusations that have been following him, his staff and family around.

This needs to be pointed out and shouted from coast to coast and around the world that Trump is guilty. Every journalist, cable news host, talking head, Dems in the Senate and the House need to keep hitting him on this.

I don't know if Trump's ego could handle this. And the American People need to keep the pressure on the Repugs in Congress to disavow him and not circle the wagons around him.

Any Repug in Congress that tries to stick up for Trump in this case - needs to be ostracized from their job.

This might be the straw that breaks the camel's back when it comes to the 'deplorables' when they realize that he's admitting guilt and he's let them down and won't be their savior that they voted for.

4. Sadly, that just what I was thinking, and his cult will buy that lie,

just like all the rest of his ridiculous, blatant lies.

My hope is that more Americans who are not part of that cult will begin to realize that something is beyond fishy here.

and another 10% or so will not be too uncomfortable with it to get past the "hillary (insert whatever evil liberal boogyman) is worse, so whatever/they both are the same cause BHO once put dijon mustard on a hamburger."

2. Which American people and members of congress?

His groupies will never believe it and/or give a damn. They are a lost cause and stupid as rocks. The GOP has proven that they are sticking with the fake prez all the way and nothing will sway them. Their lust for power and greed for money surpasses any patriotic feelings they ever had (if they ever even had any at all). They are true sociopaths.

It's US against THEM and they are in the driver's seat. We are all in for a roller coaster ride through hell.

They are certainly not circling the wagons around him. As for Trump's base, it's getting smaller and smaller as time goes on. Right leaning Rasmussen shows that there's been a slow and steady decline of likely voters who strongly approve of Trump's performance. It's at 26% as of yesterday. It was at a high of 44% at the beginning of his presidency.

8. The important thing is not that he lied to his supporters

He always lies (72% of time anyways). The important thing is that it his question strongly implies that his aides, his family and he, himself would be found guilty of crimes by a court of law. P.S. Witch hunts these days do not convict people of being a witch!

Mean someone is admitting guilt? This is more about what you want to believe than some objective truth.

11. That is a vital point. Looking for pardon doesn not necessarily mean guilt

Plenty of innocent people sitting in American prisons have been pardoned after being proved innocent subsequent to their conviction, because a new trial, even if certain to end in acquittal, is tome-consuming, expensive, and grossly unfair to the wrongly convicted. It can also be used to let a terminally ill prisoner out to spend his or her last days with family if there is no danger, or hope of a cure.

A pardon can be used for good. It is only misused for CYA purposes or to protect the guilty, who are, all too frequently, influential enough to say, "get me a pardon, or I reveal everything."
