Trumps Only Pro-Gay Advisor Anthony Scaramucci Already Fired ...

A New York hedge fund manager who supports LGBT rights won’t get the previously announced role for him at the White House as a liaison to the business community, according to The New York Times.

Anthony Scaramucci, an investment firm founder who supported Trump during the presidential campaign, was tapped to take on the outreach role at the Office of Public Engagement & Intergovernmental Affairs. Initially, the role was reported as being similar to that of Valerie Jarrett, who handled LGBT issues for the Obama administration, although Scaramucci said the role would be different.

According to The New York Times, White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon informed Scaramucci on Wednesday he wouldn’t get the job, but told him they would find another role for him in the administration in the future.

This guy is pro gay and anti gun, how in the HELL did he get a job in that WH?

BTW, the real trump is pro gay and anti gun, but only to the extent that being so is a financial advantage for him or is a social lubricant.

He needed someone who was more "traditionally conservative" and held values that he didn't, to help attract far right voters who may have had reservations about voting for him.

It meant "not hired."

You can't be fired from a position you've never held.

From your link:

"According to The New York Times, White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon informed Scaramucci on Wednesday he wouldn’t get the job, but told him they would find another role for him in the administration in the future."

The reason they said they couldn't give him the job was because it would take him too long to unwind from his business interests.

WASHINGTON — Anthony Scaramucci, an investment firm founder and a Republican donor, will not be taking a senior job at the White House as previously announced, a senior administration official said Wednesday.

Mr. Scaramucci was informed on Wednesday by Reince Priebus, President Trump’s chief of staff, and by Stephen K. Bannon, the president’s top strategist, that he would not get the job as liaison to the business community.

Mr. Priebus and Mr. Bannon, the official said, plan to find another role in the administration for Mr. Scaramucci in the future. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because Mr. Scaramucci’s name had not officially been withdrawn.

At issue is Mr. Scaramucci’s sale of his firm, SkyBridge Capital, to a division of HNA Group, a politically connected Chinese conglomerate that would become the firm’s majority owner. The sale has not been completed, and administration officials said the White House Counsel’s Office had predicted that it would take up to three months for Mr. Scaramucci to be cleared of potential ethics conflicts.
