Actor Ron Perlman's hilarious recreation of Trump's NYT interview on AM Joy

Actor Ron Perlman appearing on AM Joy with Associate Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University John McWhorter, delivered accurate impression of President Trump’s rambling speech patterns based upon the N.Y.T. interview with the president from earlier in the week.

Watch Joy and McWhorter crack up.

Perlman part is shortly after the 3 minute point, but the whole thing is well worth watching.

It takes very little exaggeration to satirize Trump, which is what makes it serious as well as Amaryllis Jul 2017 #3

and I agree his unique look has made him a very handsome older man.

If you want to search on youtube you may find his Make-a-Wish meeting with a little boy whose idol was Hellboy. Ron was in full makeup and so was the little boy as a mini-Hellboy.

I am so glad I turned Scaramicci off (he, like Kellyanne) is not invited into my home anymore. My sanity thanks me.

If he is like this all the time, how do any of his aides/cabinet members/bused in congress people ever understand exactly what he is talking about? Do his people just take their best guess and go from there? Maybe Ivanka translates for them afterward? It seems like his rambling is an enormous barrier to effective communication that should be causing mayhem well beyond the scope of what we witness. I don't care what they are stating on AM Joy about his common speech being refreshing to the masses of illiterates. I'm talking about being able to communicate higher order ideas. Do you think he can turn it on and off, sort of like a public/private communication style?

cognitively and emotionally compromised in other ways. I will leave it to the psychologists and neurologists to specify how. And I think his aides etc. don't understand what he is talking about and I'm sure it is causing mayhem well beyond our awareness. Just look at how often his statements contradict those of his lawyers or others who are supposed to be setting the narrative. He is impulsive and volatile on top of that.

That's why Malaise's comment was spot on; it was funny and serious; very serious because of its implications for the impact on the country, particularly since he has his finger on WMD.
