MoveOn.org had a national call informing us of what is happening this week and it is down to the wire now. McConnell is taking a Motion To Proceed vote on TUESDAY so we must call tomorrow!
Capito has turned around and will vote for it now, so are others! We do not know what they are going to do on Tues and neither do they. It could be:
1. BCRA-which will cut 22 million off of the ACA and gut Medicaid.
2. REPEAL without replace- forcing 32 million off insur.
3. ? Anything else McConnell suddenly throws into the pot.
If it passes it'll move fast and we have to hold them accountable. If it doesn't pass we have to keep the pressure on them until Aug. recess.

For some reason women are doing more of the resisting efforts and men need to step up too since this effects everyone. It effects economies, jobs, your insur via an employer, older people between 55 and 65 are really fucked, parents going into nursing homes, people pregnant or planning to become pregnant, etc.

Update...thanks everyone at DU! I appreciate your help. Today I called 16 of them and was able to speak with 4 of the staffers (in tears naturally). Oh well, it's proof that I am sincere and not a paid fraud. I naturally didn't think to call McCain but at the time I didn't realize that McConnell was going to try to fly him in specifically. Oh, the irony and hypocrisy of the GOP!
