The republican voters screwed themselves and their families.

They need insurance to.

My brother in law will be dead very fast without it.

The whole insurance industry will go down.

Who will buy junk insurance.

Everyone rates will go up.

Some kind of single payer will come out of this.

Only a few hospitals will be open.

Sad all this will happen.

The republicans voters will learn but the rest of us have to suffer.

I hope the final vote works out.

I am pissed off.

They will learn whatever Faux news tells them, or what their LEADERS tell them.

If they blame anyone, it will be Obama or the Democrats.

But I will be telling my republican sister that she killed her husband with her vote.

Believe me I will.

I suspect some will learn. Perhaps not a majority, perhaps not a plurality, but I think some of them will wise up when illness, pain, cold, homelessness, and ruin teach them the hard lessons they refused to learn back in 2006.

Pain, hunger, disease, cold, and fear have ways of getting through to the lizard brains of those Republicans susceptible to critical thinking.

But like the Prodigal Son's older brother, I am going to have a hard time welcoming them in after their debauch. The Prodigal Son only hurt himself. These guys hurt the country and tens of millions of their fellow citizens.

I realize some people will have it worse than me. I will not die from this, but I have a chronic illness and my medicine is expensive I will no longer be able to afford it and I will have to live through some extra pain.

My brother in law in and out of the hospital all the time.

He is a republican also.

I think it will get bad so fast that the insurance companies will crash and burn.

It is an area hard hit by unemployment. When asked about peoples' responses to all this, she said they just don't get it. She tries to stay out of politics and stick to insurance advice but she did say those she talked to just don't understand what happened.

In a way, I don't blame them entirely because Trump out and out lied about so many things. People want to be able to believe and Trump was a very effective liar. Still, in some ways they deserve what they are getting. It may have been brilliant to get this done early because four years from now people will be used to the new status quo and be propagandized against reform again. That will be a tragedy because we all know no Republican is going to make healthcare better for the average person.

KUOW is local (Seattle) public radio.

I don't know why but they did. People also believed Bush's lies about Iraq. We have a major information problem in this country. The media doesn't help much by making everything about drama and personalities instead of policy and also playing the "both sides are equal" game when it is clear that one side lies a lot more than the other. There are also a lot of Republicans who will be fine even if TrumpCare ends up getting passed and they just don't care about other people.

It will have to hit their families.

Sometimes it takes a two by four up the head to get some peoples attention.

This is just the start.

The republicans will go after the VA hospital system also.

Along with medicare and SS.

The republicans have to work fast.

I warned people this would happen if the republicans get in.

It is sad but I think we have to admit that it is true for many Americans.
