Let's propose to them we use the "free market" for their health care.
We can eliminate Tricare and reserve Medicare/Medicaid only for the very poor.
Hey, they love that free market don't they?
on edit I'm not serious here. I am trying to point out their hypocrisy. I'll tell this to rightwinger's faces. I understand there are many good military and seniors.
I can't believe I need to explain myself.

(10,177 posts)All of my senior friends, and I am selective these days, loathe him. I really resent this, btw. I am a 50 year long left wing, pro-choice, pro-lgbt, anti-gun liberal. I see that attacked here too nowadays, so go after that too if you want. Again, WTF!

I'm retired military. I'm also a senior. I don't "love Republicanism".
If Trump was on this side, he'd love your idea.
Try not to be his mirror image.

(17,019 posts)He, sadly, recently lost his wife to cancer. He acknowledged that the medical care she received under Tri-care was excellent. He is all for repealing the ACA. When I explained that would prevent others facing the same situation he and his late wife faced from getting excellent medical care his answer was he earned it, they didn't. I told him they will go after Tri-care next and he assured me they would never do that. What a sucker.

I have argued with seniors who will insist that they have earned their Social Security while Federal employees (I am one) have not earned their annuities.
Consistency is not a strong point for many conservatives.
