People want to believe that Collins may switch, but that's ignoring the fact that she often finds ways to vote with the GOP whenever possible. My view on her is that her "moderation" is based on necessity, and not based on her core beliefs.
Murkowski may be a likelier candidate, but her state is just too red for it to be anything more that a huge longshot.
