McCain took the hit of the NO votes because he could.

For so many reasons
1. He got even with Trump
2. It's his last term
3. The Repubs who wanted to to vote NO got cover with McCains vote
4. What the hell is the asshole going to do to McCain?

now Murkowski really got even with Dump.

There's no way Trump would get away with his insults to McCain's service. And Trump's an idiot to think otherwise.
