Called Cornyn and Cruz's office, and I gotta say, I had a smile on my face!

I am cursed with Cornyn and Cruz as my Senators, and I called their offices this morning to express how very proud I was of the three Republican Senators who put country ahead of party last night. I also expressed my disappointment in Cornyn and Cruz for their failure to do that.

I know it makes very little impact on the two idiots, but I actually got to enjoy these phone calls a wee little bit!!!

I have a family member currently battling Stage IV colon cancer.

I am also in the age bracket (myself) that was to be most impacted by Trumpcare.

So, I was very happy about the vote last night. Living in a red state with a bunch of crazies offers little chances to get a little "payback", so I have to take those opportunities as they become available. As I said, I know Cruz and Cornyn don't pay any attention to constituents, but the resistance is working elsewhere, so we must keep it up.

Today's a good day!!!
