Yes, it's my birthday today. I'm 72 years old and still going strongishly. Imagine my surprise this morning, when I discovered that the grumpy folks over at everyone's favorite DU-hating attack site have chosen three of my posts from yesterday to grumble over. That's an all-time record for the number of posts, I think, selected for them to focus on attacking me in one day.
I couldn't be more proud, so I'll have an extra piece of my coconut cream birthday pie to celebrate!
Thanks, troglodytes, from "Rockhead."

(7,888 posts)Did you bake the pie? Coconut and Banana Creme Pie remind me of my mother's baking. You have just a couple years' seniority in breaking the 70 year old barrier. Good health and long life for all of our age is my wish.

Everyone knows coconut custard pie is supperior to the cream variety.
It is your birthday--so enjoy the extra piece. (Is the "extra" the second, third, fourth piece? If it was my birthday and a good custard variety I could definitely go for half a pie.
