Trump: Russia was against Trump in the 2016 election

President Trump on Saturday insisted Russia never wanted him to be president, a claim he says means Moscow did not collude to influence the 2016 election on his behalf.

He made the connection in a tweet about the firm behind a controversial dossier filled with salacious allegations about Trump. The firm, Fusion GPS, “also worked for Russia,” according to a news story Trump re-tweeted.

“In other words, Russia was against Trump in the 2016 election - and why not, I want strong military & low oil prices,” Trump commented. He has previously claimed Russian leadership would have preferred someone like his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton to lead the country. 

“Witch hunt!” Trump continued, repeating his derogatory description of the federal investigation into possible ties between his campaign and the Kremlin.

But Trump can not fire, lie, con, or bully his way out of the shit storm that is

money laundering scheme is also about to come to light. And the republicans
