...they will be replaced by generals without said compasses, and that seems an incredibly dangerous state of affairs.

We would have to hope that the resignations are numerous enough and high-profile enough to damage the standing of the Administration.

and although some of their philosophies may not be in sync with ours, I have to believe they love the United States. I don't think they'll abandon the nation to the likes of trump, bannon, milker, and gorka.

My experience is that the percentage of Flag Officers without a "moral compass" is about where the Orange Shitgibbons approval rating is.

They served the country before Trump, and look at it as their role to provide stability and continuity to the military no matter who is in that offic.

Resigning to them would be abandoning those they lead when they are needed the most.
