Those posting twitter comments, please write out the quoted comment.

The only way I can see the comment is to click on a twitter link and go that website. I think some can't even see that much. It is a very common post now on DU to just put a link for twitter.

Please - write out the comment in the body of your DU post.

Thank you

Do a preview, then scroll up to the preview and copy the text, then scroll down to the body and paste it.

I'm not sure what to do differently if there is a photo or gif or video.

Also, posting the link to the tweet allows users to go directly to it to comment, like it, or retweet it.

I see more and more tweeted posts with just a link. The subject sounds like something I would like to read, but I end up just closing the OP disappointed. So, I am asking if people can write the text out so we all can see it.

in the body of the OP, then copy/paste the text that appears in the Preview. I use mostly Android devices, and it seems to work pretty easily, whereas trying to copy text directly from Twitter has been impossible for me.

why on earth are there two, three, sometimes even four copies of every tweet that is posted here??? And why are they all so disjointed, cut off, oddly formatted, and often so tiny they are impossible to read or enlarge?

Some of us have a real problem with them. Is it because we're not using telephones?

The twitted links by themselves don't translate well for all of us using DU I guess.
