I remember when President Obama asked the American business community to put skin
in the game. He didn't make any grand deals but just appealed to their patriotism and tried to get them to take a moral stand on behalf of their customers and consumers. He didn't offer bribes and didn't offer to sacrifice the American worker for investor dividends. Under President Obama it was for MUTUAL benefit for their companies and for the American worker and consumers.
They may be taking a positive stand now, for which I am grateful, but where the fuck were they when it counted more for helping bring good paying jobs to hard-working Americans when they were not drugged up and so depressed?
They owe American consumers and workers a better deal. And their boards and investors, asleep at their duty, also owe it to the country to take a little less to ensure longevity for a better economic environment. Are they even up to the test now? Let's see. They need to take their fair share of the blame for the fomenting political and social scene we are faced with now. They didn't speak up for HRC when they knew she was trying to negotiate with them on behalf of the American worker. Their own sexist biases would not allow them to go full throttle for her but they hedged their bets on Trump whom they knew they could bribe and connive with. They owe us bigly!!
