She speaks fluent Russian and her recent statements about The Russian collusion being no big deal and a waste of time make me wonder.

Her skill set was all wrong during the Bush era, but she probably has expertise that would apply now.

Rice was a quick study who easily fit with the rightwing ideologues of the Reagan era

She's a bright woman but not a very deep or original thinker

I don't agree with many of her views -- but she's serious and principled, in her own way
