Are they connected?
One night after unenthusiastically reading a speech whose intent was to unite our country, President Twitter entertained his fans in Phoenix with his daring tales of bravado. He spit out his criticism of others, on the verge of incitement, as he sought to blame others for whatever might be happening? He sat them up like bowling pins, ready to strike back at the mainstream "media", vowing to themselves to never believe anything bad about their President Twitter.
The Senate Judiciary Committee, with Charles Grassley and Diane Feinstein leading the Committee, Glenn Simpson agreed to testify before a few of their staff. Mr. Simpson was reportedly the investigator in many of the "Steele dossier" stories, with a lot of lurid details. The interview lasted about ten hours.
Perhaps Donald Trump was told about the interview before his rally in Phoenix? Perhaps that would explain his 180-degree change in demeanor??

(24,259 posts)(self and fan) ego stroking to feed his narcissism what you said could have boosted his panic and need for it. IMO the rallies are his 'drug' and he'll do them just to get a fix but more so when he feels out of control or not as loved as he feels he 'deserves'.

(24,259 posts)he really needed that fix and what you said would make that need make even more sense for him. What better for his 'sad' ego then a crowd full of adoring fan 'fluffers'.
I keep saying that his actions are not those of an innocent person. He puts out so many guilt 'tells' I would think even the Cult45 fools would see them but I think the problem with them is that their minds can't handle the truth so their psyche chooses the 'truth' it wants vs the reality it needs.

(905 posts)make the "fake news" charge to anyone but his base and the flunkies he hired on the government dole. Once the truth is out, those who remain in his administration will be tainted for life...and that is a good thing.

(15,242 posts)Donald fails even as a figurehead the one who greets famous people. It really showed up at the Al Smith dinner Donald is not someone alpha status wants to talk to. His drain the swamp talk is covered by rejection, who wants to get grabbed by a vulgar insecure creep. Followers of Donald Trump share his insecurity and are terrified of their feelings of inferiority. This disaster does give credence for those who may be truly authoritarian who or what will save us from this mad man criminal and his family?
