"It was the hanging head seen round the world. While Donald Trump was giving a speech last week defending white supremacists, his new White House Chief of Staff, General John F. Kelly, was seen standing to the side and staring at his feet and looking forlorn. The implication was clear: Kelly was embarrassed to be there, and was questioning his choice to join Trumps staff. When Trump gave an arguably even more offensive speech in Phoenix, Kelly was once again humiliated by it."

(82,849 posts)If Trump remembers that Kelly didn't come out when he was called, it could be a very short tenure for John. Of course, if it were me in that position, I'd go a step or two out on stage, flip him off, then walk back into the wing.

(51,611 posts)humiliation. Maybe he was back there writing a rough draft of his resignation letter. The Arts Council spelled RESIST and the Science Council spelled IMPEACH in their "resignation" letters to 45. I wonder what Kelly will spell in his. It should be FUCK YOU or 25 AMEND.
