(7,911 posts)...the time it takes to repair the damage from one storm is longer than the time until the next storm. From that point on the damage just keeps accumulating and we will never again get back to normal. Once things break faster than we can fix them, the coastal cities will start falling apart in earnest.

This thing will dump a lot of rain on the coast. That's about it.
