How long before the RW claim the PBO campaign has looked at Mitt's returns?

They will start by claiming that if the President's spokesmen are hinting at terrible things in the old tax returns, it's because they have committed a felony and had the IRS give them to the campaign. Think someone, Rush/Hannity/Beck, will drop that turd by Tues at the latest.

When the story has gone against them for too long, they'll use any lie to change the subject. The idea if throwing out a felony counter claim is classic Rove.

Using official channels for finding out personal data secretly would be almost impossible. There's always a trail and people to be paid off.

8. It's elementary. We all know that what's in there is bad, because Romney won't release them!

So it COULD be just an educated guess.

But more likely, they haven't seen them, but they've gotten detailed accounts from others who have.

I doubt they got copies of them.

This is a win-win for the Democrats. You just know there's at least SOME bad stuff in them. I mean, he DOES have offshore accounts, so his returns would reflect that..or worse, his returns would NOT reflect that (which is tax evasion). Then we know he either paid LOW taxes, or what has been the rumor, that some years he paid NO taxes.

No matter what is in those returns, it's safe to hound him to release them, because something in them is bad for Romney's campaign, just based on the facts that we know about his business in the past.

2. That would be admitting that there is something damaging in Romney's taxes.

They have to keep insisting Obama is lying.

3. No one has leaked any details. All they have done is ask for the returns.

They'll try anything to change the subject and attack.
