Labor Day

This is nostalgia day, we can look back on the America that supported working people by supporting labor unions.

Enough of us, however, were convinced that the problem wasnt the top 1/10th of one percent having more than the bottom 50% COMBINED, no, that wasnt the problem

People being paid wages and receiving benefits allowing them to live decent lives, was.

I say we change the name to "Nostalgia Day"

Let's see if Mueller can stop this trend first.

3. Stop the trend of a traitor and international criminal being president? Hope so,

but the bashing and destruction of unions will continue on unabated.

I'm a Teamster and in my local we're winning against the University of California.

6. Why would a CA university be against a union?

That pisses me off.

7. It pisses us off too

But like I said, we've been winning against them for the last 5 years. Enrollment has skyrocketed and keeps growing and we just got our second contract in a row with raises for the last five and the next 5 years. No one, and I mean no one else in the university is getting raises at all. This is for the clericals which means that there is someone in every department who is a Teamster getting raises and no one else is. Lot's of people are wishing they were represented by a union now. They don't hate us. They want to be us.

4. I know middle class people who will insist that rich GREEDY people are fine and YOU

are the problem

It is one of many reasons why I am so pessimistic, I believe we are too stupid to deserve survival, period.
