Former Wisconsin sheriff David Clarke joins pro-Trump super PAC

Former Wisconsin sheriff David Clarke, an African-American who criticized the Black Lives Mater movement and was previously under consideration for a position with the Trump administration, has joined a super political action committee that backs the president, officials said on Tuesday.
Clarke, 61, will serve as spokesman and senior advisor for America First Action, his office and the political action committee said in two separate statements.
I will help make sure we elect the candidates who will do what they promise in support of President Trumps agenda, Clarke said in a statement from his office.
Just as important, I will see to it that the will of the American people is not derailed by the left or the self-serving Washington establishment, he added.

(841 posts)1. There is nothing like the right-wing welfare state.
Seriously, these guys always seem to fall into new jobs with right-wing organizations no matter how disgraced they are after their time in public office.

(1,301 posts)3. Look under "Disbursements"
It looks like they just gave the $4,277 back as In-Kind Payroll/Office Expense
https://www.fec.gov/data/disbursements/?two_year_transaction_period=2018&data_type=processed&committee_id=C00637512&min_date=01%2F01%2F2017&max_date=12%2F31%2F2018
It shows them taking in $4277 from America First and then sending it back to them.

Bulldog compliance appears to be their consultants of choice.
Loved the $80 expense to their lawyers. $80? Did the child of a paralegal make copies for them?
