Relative of Confederate Lee quits NC church

A relative of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee who made headlines for denouncing racism on last month’s MTV Video Music Awards has announced he is leaving his post at a Winston-Salem church after some in the congregation expressed discomfort over some of the statements he has been making.

I got the impression that this is a man who truly tries to practice what he preaches. If all religious leaders were more like him, we might have a better world.
