Some things simply cannot be "normalized"...

We cannot "normalize" the idea that nuclear weapons are acceptable under any circumstances.

We cannot "normalize" the idea that some citizens can be kicked out of our country.

We cannot "normalize" the idea that building walls around our country will somehow protect us.

We cannot "normalize" the idea that Nazism and White Supremacy are appropriate.

We cannot "normalize" the idea that Donald Trump is in anyway normal.

There is a strong push to normalize all these ideas but we cannot let it happen.

And they infect another 20% of the population, so think family and friends.


We will still be dealing with them after Trump leaves.

I hate to say it, but maybe, just maybe raising our kids to believe they need to get along with everyone is not the right tool in the bag to give them. Nor is it a good tool to teach them to ignore these nutcases. Now, if someone has a lesson plan that will find the middle ground, please let me know. My parents only taught me to avoid.

An even bigger challenge is to de-normalize around 40 years of GOP and Wall Street dogma and bullshit that's been infused in to our culture.
