Why does the GOP still care about children?

I've been wondering this since the election, and I feel like nobody has asked this question. The answer is they clearly don't. And they should stop pretending like they do. Some examples of how they don't:

- They declined to protect several future generations by pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord because a couple of billionaires said so.

- They will pull children out of gay couples' homes for "their protection".

- Neo-Nazis and the KKK are now harassing and threatening gay families "for the sake of children".

- They have enabled the racists and Neo Nazis, the absolute worst in society, which will scare off minorities and future generations of minorities.

- They harassed and threatened to murder employees and customers of a DC pizza parlor they accused of operating a child sex ring in their basement off a baseless conspiracy theory. And they didn't have a basement. And when the theory was dismissed by those that created it as baseless bullshit - still went on with their harassing behavior!

- They threatened to kill female journalists who play video games. Just because, women.

- They just told 800,000 of them to go take a hike to please their hardcore base of racists.

- They act like the murder of 22 children and 6 teachers at an elementary school didn't happen, and have to THIS DAY harassed and threatened to murder the families of the victims, because they were convinced by people like Alex Jones (who goes out of his way to convince people he cares about children and the baby Jesus) that it was a plot to take people's guns away.

- The GOP platform repeatedly denies funding for education and programs like school lunches, because billionaires need private islands and giant yachts!

- Also don't forget the senseless and tragic murders of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, and Philando Castille.

This is some truly sick behavior coming from the far right. They believe in harassment and intimidation, and they couldn't give less of a crap about children. The next time your GOP friends go on about children, I would suggest throwing some of these examples back in their faces.

"Doing it for the children" is the perfect excuse for anything. Because, if you oppose the idea, then you hate children.

Example:
Glenn Beck once got worked up over the child slave camps NASA is running on Mars, where they are harvesting the childrens' bone-marrow for adrenaline. (I am not kidding.)
