(82,849 posts)Why are our roads in such disrepair? How come we don't have state-of-the-art school buildings? Shouldn't public employees be getting paid more? Why do we have such large deficits? Can't we spend less on the military?
I got more questions when you're done answering those, Mr. President.

(51,590 posts)Most of those countries have health care paid for by the govt and that is what a lot of their taxes go toward. We would have more to spend on Health care if we would stop overspending on military expenses (with kickbacks to private contractors) for the past 30 years at least.

(54,770 posts)Most of those countries get health care, many have education opportunities we don't have, etc. Of course, that is not what Trump means.
Now if the took the $600 Billion we spend on military and cut it and spent the money on health care, education, etc., we'd have a better deal.

(34,661 posts)Donnie subscribes to the Forbes Model. Flat tax where the Wealthy pay zero in taxes and remember the Helmsley Rule,only little people pay taxes.
