The phrase, "A deal with the Devil" comes to mind.

It is great that the Dems may have done something needed in the short term, but what does the future hold in store for them?

Are they being played?

I for one am very suspicious, and I will puke if anyone says the phrase ".....Became Presidential".

Do not misconstrue these comments as throwing shade on the Dems, that is surely not the case.

They need to be careful and not jubilant. Although none of them are stupid (like some I could name) and I'd bet money that they're not kidding themselves and are laughing because of all the grief MM & PR have handed them, it's nice to be on the other side for a change.

4. Warning! Trump can turn on a dime. Trump is setting us all up for 2020. Beware.

He is going to shed the alt-right and actually do something the he knows Obama couldn't get done (and that is really what his entire life is focused on) and make DACA a permanent law in one way or another and accept the accolades of the people he smeared to get into office. It's really his art of the deal: do, say, promise, lie, cheat, and steal to get what you want. He will keep throwing red meat to his racist cabal to keep them in line. He's counted the numbers and see that that the numbers are actually with Democratic governance and that is what he is going to keep power. Then he will turn on a dime again and the fascist base will forgive him and we will be back where we are right now.

But for the moment the Dems have a possible deal which also puts them at advantage down the road to make other deals and...at the same time the Cons are turning on each other...you have the freedoms vs.the moderates and Meadows scheming with Bannon. 45 is a vicious person to be around and a God-awful human being. The Dems know that as well as I do. No one is fooled by him.

CNN reports that he silenced Mnuchin when he tried to argue against the deal.

All he cares about is getting a"win."
