because wind speed is 155, a Cat. 4 max wind
but a Cat 5 is 156 mph.or more.
So it really is just as dangerous as a Cat. 5

then gain, anything over a Cat. 2 is deadly.

remember Sandy was not even a hurricane, at all, just a storm that could not even make a cat 1

Cuba has since reported Irma made landfall in Cuba. From radar, looked more like she bounced off of Cuba. Anyway, the longer before Irma turns north, the worse the storm surge danger along Florida's west coast.

Not a good thing for the Keys, but they still expect a northward turn.

None of this is good. At all. I'm so afraid the Keys are going to end up looking like Barbuda or one of the others that was decimated.

Most of the Keys are tiny.
