We have had tropical weather today in San Francisco

A little while ago, it was thunder and lightening and a small squall shower.

Lived her all my life, never remember having that kind weather here.

1. Meteorologists said recently that CA will experience

more humid weather similar to,the south and east coast due to climate change. It has been very humid for many years in San Diego and I had to finally by a floor A/C unit a few years ago when the temp went up with the humidity kept increasing. My neurologist told me that humidity also increases migraines (I get Botox injections for mine now...it helps a lot!). It is effecting everything in so many ways.

SF doesn't have Thunder & Lightning & rain??

That kind of weather is in the December and January months.

5. It's rare

Today's was one of the heaviest in terms of thunder I remember: one huge clap was practically over us. One of the cats still hasn't come out from the basement, and the other isn't straying far. I don't blame them - it startled me.

6. The weather pattern came from the southwest

rather than the Pacific Ocean. IIRC, it was the remnants of a tropical storm off Mexico.

Driving back from Arizona I ran into an intense thunderstorm near quartzite which persisted through the the California desert almost to Indio. It was headed north and a little west
