How a new generation of left-wing podcasters are dethroning Rush Limbaugh and right-wing talk radio

I don't consider some of the podcast listed in the article as "leftwing". However, it's great to know Limbaugh and his ilk are a dying out!
I would recommend the following podcasts: The Majority Report, Chapo Trap House, Left Coast, The Dig - Jacobin Radio, Intercepted and Discourse Collective. And On the Media

http://indiemediaweekly.com/tag/turn-up-the-night-with-kenny-pick/ - airs Tuesdays & Fridays 7-10pm ET. We've got a good community of listeners too. A bunch of us are old fans of Air America Radio from back in the mid-00s. The IMW channel has some other excellent indie shows too.

She is not on air this week due to the Hurricane in Florida, but hopefully she will be back soon.

She reads the newspapers, and connects all the dots (so me, in my limited free time these days) don't have to.

I hope her house is OK.

Her studio is in a business building where she does her show. (it was on the 2nd floor so hopefully no flooding)

And maybe folks should find them on iTunes. Speaking of such, our podcast network is on Google Play for $2.99 Here & iTunes for a subscription here.

are left of center and both informative and enjoyable. The Vox and Pod Save America pods
are intelligent discussions from a progressive prospective. There are others:

Yascha Mounk's The Good Fight
Slate's Political Gabfest
Huffpost So That Happened
Trump Watch
The WashPost Can He Do That? and Cape Up with Jonathon Capehart.

I find this in depth discussions are the best way to be informed in this fast
changing environment, far better than cable.

Five days a week, commercial-free podcast comes to a little over 2 hrs a day of the funniest leftwing show out there. Been listening for years & feel like part of the show's family.

I don't think so.

Anger, demagogery, and political irrationality are the enemies of rational liberalism.

Populism is the enemy of rational liberalism.

PSA is funny and raw. it bi-weekly slices and dices all things Trump. The Weeds have some of the best discussion on healthcare. PSA has a very young perspective but it's still appeals to this oldster.
