Stephen Bannon’s nervous defense of Trump on Russia is telling
By Aaron Blake September 11

Stephen K. Bannon labeled the Russia investigation a “farce” and a “waste of time” during his interview with “60 Minutes” this weekend. But those strong words papered over what was otherwise a pretty nervous and nonsensical defense of President Trump on Russia.

If you watch the video above, you'll see Bannon repeatedly stumble over his answers to Charlie Rose's questions. Bannon echoed the Trump White House's long-running strategy of deflecting on Russia, responding to questions about whether there was interference by saying there was no collusion and that it didn't have an impact. Both times Bannon tried this, though, Rose called him out for not answering the question.

And by the end of the segment, Bannon offered perhaps his most illogical argument of the entire interview, suggesting that Trump didn't more directly criticize Russia because he doesn't want to pick a fight (!). This is a president, of course, who picks fights with pretty much everyone — up to and including members of his own party, his own staff, and powerful and adversarial countries like China.

Hey, Sessions, do your job. Oh yeah, you had to recuse yourself from Russian things, because of lying about your own involvement.

The maggot WH accused Susan Rice and the Obama WH of illegally unmasking Americans. Wanted charges filed against them. When, in fact, it was the meeting where Super Son-in-Law Jared along with Bannon (and others) tried, through the UAE ambassador, to set up a back channel to Russia. The super secret, and forgotten, meeting? The one where Super SIL thought it would be a good idea to set up the back channel in Russian diplomatic facilities? And that is why Rice did the unmasking? Is that right?

4. Yep, they were masking the unmasking with accusations of illegality to cover up their illegality.

See how they work, everything is strategic, bald-faced lying intended to totally conflate the truth with opposites which make it difficult to accept the truth via confusion when the truth outs. It is very advanced propaganda methodology which belies guilt.

Please investigate this thoroughly if you haven't already done so.
Update:
I just saw Ari Melber on MSNBC and it seems to believe Mueller IS following this up already.

9. Why would that cause Bannon to leave or be fired?

So many have been involved with "Russher," as Trump calls it. They didn't fire Flynn until it became absolutely necessary.

Seems they would want to keep their enemies close, and if Bannon is not an enemy (it doesn't seem so), having him in the W.H. rather than a private citizen provides some protection to Trump, doesn't it? Privilegd communications and all?

If I did a quarter of the things this guy has done I'd be locked up in jail.

LOCK HIM UP!

I don't think he was fired over this though. The pressure was mounting for him to fire him plus internal divisions within the Trump administration.
