It Looks Like a Storm System Is Forming Just South of Baja California

I went to the wind maps to check on Jose and the new system just off Africa's west coast and it jumped out at me: there is a tight circular formation just south of Baja California's southern tip.

Here are the maps I look at. You can drag the maps anywhere you want.

We were hoping it would rain itself out over the southwest, but it looks more like she'll turn east. Stupid storm.

Just before Irma hit the Caribbean islands. I don't remember who I got them from, but thanks to the anonymous poster!

They are bookmarked in my bookmark toolbar.

If you drag the map over to the Japan Sea, you can see the typhoon hitting there. It looks like the effects go as far as Korea. The east coast of China is about to get hit big time.
