The "I stand with all Democrats" thread.

Sign in here if you stand for unity and dialog.

If you stand With what Hillary AND Bernie were and are about-for the past is the past and we are joined by much more than not.

With the next generation of Democratic politicians and what they will be about.

With the next generation of Democratic activists, of all races, colors, genders, identities, and immigration statuses.

With social justice supporters AND economic justice supporters-and with the many who support both.

With the victims of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and the victims of poverty and greed, and especially the victims of more than one of those injustices.

With the defenders of choice and the opponents of war.

With those newly arrived, those here for generations, and those who were always here.

With young, old, and middle-aged people of progressive good will.

With everyone working to end the present nightmare.

With everyone who seeks common ground and a future better than this.

With all who wish to move forward.

The idiotic and awkward post I responded to was removed. Too bad, it was a marvel of blind obtuseness.

When I recently posted that I was sick of the daily attacks,
and that we need to unite to beat the GOP in 2018 and 2020,
one responder told me I should leave DU.

Sad

They didn't say I should leave but implied the intramural warfare was fun.

It's not possible to have unity on the assumption that ideas associated with the Clinton campaign are legitimate in the party and ideas associated with the Sanders campaign are off-limits.

I fully accepted HRC's victory in the primaries when I endorsed her before Philly, was nothing but positive and supportive in the fall campaign was nothing but positive and respectful in the post-election proposals for change within the party.

We can't win by "staying the course". We all know that, right?
