I've known people like him - one minute they are your best ally, and then you see them chumming up to someone they had just been trashing. They will do and say anything, for and to anyone, and they definitely can't be trusted.

I was actually pretty shocked to find out he had been invited. I refuse to accept any "normalization" of anyone involved with any of this nightmarish situation, whether past or present.
