Are There Any Plagues Anywhere In The World?....

We have the pacific northwest burning. We have earthquakes in Mexico. Houston was under water thanks to Harvey Florida was pummeled by Irma. We have Jose off the eastern coast that will cause some problems and Cat 5 Maria going to decimate the Virgin Island spared by Irma (St Croix) and take out Puerto Rico - San Juan in its sights.

Oh - and Trump is our president that going to take out North Korea and probably Iran as well.

It's the end of the world as we know it!!!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!

Got it about a month ago...never have I seen someone so sick. 2 CAT scans, 2 MRI's, 3 Spinal Taps before they figured it out. She is in rehab in Roswell learning how to walk and go to the bathroom on her own... she's only 52.

So, you're right. It is very serious. Climate change changes how far disease vectors spread.

Anyone can sign up for them. I get one including flus that I very seldom read, but I'm sloppy about letting email pile up, and the next time the threat of a pandemic causes the government to censor all news about it (such as happened in I think 2007) I should have a few piled up I can scan for pathogen outbreaks that suddenly go missing.

It wasn't that long ago that hurricanes simply showed up unexpected, but sitting in your living room in Podunk, you would not hear of a hurricane somewhere in the Caribbean until quite a long time after if at all.

6. Plague in Williams and Flagstaff, AZ

GAME AND FISH NEWS

For immediate release, Sept. 19, 2017
Arizona Game and Fish Department

FLAGSTAFF — The Arizona Game and Fish Department, together with the Kaibab National Forest Williams Ranger District, recently applied insecticidal dust Williams and Flagstaff-area Gunnison prairie dog holes for fleas.

Last month fleas tested near the Red Lake area north of Williams tested positive for plague, a potentially fatal disease that could eradicate prairie dog colonies and other infected animals. Plague-infected fleas were also recently found at an AZGFD research plot at Garland Prairie near Flagstaff.

“Unfortunately, it has been a very busy year for plague,” said Holly Hicks, a small mammals biologist with AZGFD. “An infestation can prove detrimental for prairie dog populations because they are highly communal animals, and the disease spreads easily in a colony. That is why it is important for us to identify an infected colony and dust it with insecticide to reduce the risk of infection to other animals and people.”

9. There is a brain disease in the United States
Tue Sep 19, 2017, 07:45 PM
Sep 2017

It seems to get people to be constantly looking at their telephones, becoming more and more unsociable. There are signs of weakness developing in the areas that produce rational thoughts, complex reasoning skills, and creativity. This makes the person(s) more susceptible to propaganda from sources outside the country, effecting all manner of society in the country, even tearing families apart. The culmination of this brain disease has resulted in the election of a complete idiot to the Presidency and is currently threatening the total destruction of the world.
