and American health. It is so sucky it's almost as if the freaking evil empire* of russia suggested it to further screw-up America, as if their puppet, Comrade Casino, republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief, were not already punishment enough for decent folk.

Stay vigilant and keep calling until Oct 1st. Only then can you breadth a legitimate sigh of relief. McCain is a well proven grandstander. There is too much to lose and we can not be lulled into a false sense of security. McConnell must have a win...he is evil...remember Gorsuch??? Also Joy Reid said last night that her GOP sources told her that the mega rich donors are putting a lot of pressure on the GOP. They have already invested tons of money so they can get their tax cuts. This is about corruption and money. None of them gives a shit about people's lives. MONEY IS THEIR ONLY DRIVING FORCE! Keep calling, PLEASE!

Not holding my breath. Graham and McCain are famous friends. I don't believe that McCain will not ultimately go to the dark side. Even if he doesn't, deals are being made behind the scenes and bribes are being offered. This isn't over...not by a long shot.

Just not enough of one to even begin to pay back the millions they stole from old people.

Go John Go! Only this can save us from ACA repeal. Get Collins and whoever else it is back on side, too.

He just opposes the fact that is is not being done in regular order.
He will vote for it in January when it comes up again, so save your accolades.

Of course McCain can't vote for it now that the GOPenis has been exposed!

But one thing I will give McCain credit for is not making millions of vulnerable people agonize and wait to hear what the hell he was going to do.

Rejoice America!
As mentioned up this thread, McCain relieved pressure by not waiting for that final tally, hear a pin drop, moment.

(and yes, you can bet he's watching it) and thought if he accepted his bribes and got Cindy a big tax cut he'd be letting his younger self down. In any case, he's no fool, he doesn't want to be associated with this theft from the American people.

he has the best insurance in the world and will need it to endure what he is facing...
he did it because Koch money means nothing to him now...
he did it because he no longer has political ambitions but wants to protect his legacy...
he did it because he despises Donald Trump.

You have to wait until the danger has fully and officially passed, and not place ultimate faith in favorable models a week away.

Regardless, I'm returning to much better news than when I left to help a relative several hours ago. All year I've been expecting them to repeal at deadline. I'll be thrilled to be wrong.

He's heard all that crap Trump has said about him etc.. and knows what a jerk he is.

This is giving him the middle finger to be able to stop him getting something he wants so bad.
