I don't follow sports but I support this movement to force the country to acknowledge racism, especially with Trump in office.

......fan of football (go Broncos!) and have supported Mr. Kaepernick from day one. Before our Divider in Chief went on his rant, there were calls to boycott the games from OUR side of the political spectrum over Colin's continued unemployment. I think he's become a scapegoat myself BUT to be brutally honest, I do believe there are other factors involved in that.

IRREGARDLESS of that , which is more a football discussion rather than a political discussion, as long as ANY player is Taking a Knee we should all watch the games. There are many fine players taking knees and THEY can use our support if nothing else. If our side boycotts the games AND the trumpists boycott them yes that may well be enough to sink the league. Then what platform will the players, coaches, and yes even a few owners have for their protest? An unemployed former player among many other unemployed former players are just not "news worthy" sad to say. As long as even ONE player is willing to stand tall by taking a knee we should support them and by extension the billionaire fat cats who own the teams. (which sucks I know)

There are many things wrong with the NFL but if we take away the National platform they have, then we lose a powerful messaging tool is what I'm trying to say. We/they can work to fix the broken parts but only if they are still viable to exist.

My two cents on that.
