The author and journalist Naomi Klein has likened Donald Trump to a “fatberg”, a congealed lump of fat and sanitary products that causes dangerous blockages in sewers.

Klein, the Canadian author of bestsellers including No Logo and The Shock Doctrine and a Guardian contributor, was the international guest speaker at the Labour party conference in Brighton. Previous speakers have included Bill Clinton and Nelson Mandela.

She is a Canadian and wrote Why I don't trust Hillary...and appeared everywhere saying...screw her. She is dead to me.

I know of nothing that supports your claim. Are you confusing her with someone else? Although I am no expert, what I know of Ms Klein is that she exemplifies the principles of most progressives -- certainly not those of 45 and his corporate minions.

10. Hating a Canadian because she criticized Clinton doesn't seem productive.

And hating Klein FOREVER because of that, while negating EVERYTHING she says now or will ever say is an attitude that is going to continue dividing this party and keeping us from winning elections. It really is. I supported Sanders because he talked about kitchen table issues, stuff I worry about. I thought his policies would do me more good than those of other candidates. I don't hate Clinton - I voted for her. But the problem is with these attacks on progressives is that the traditional Dems got PASTED. What is it? 33 governorships, 32 state legislatures and all three branches of the Federal government?
