by Aidan McLaughlin | 7:15 am, September 27th, 2017
The latest NBC polling on President Donald Trumps approval rating amongst millennials is out and, unsurprisingly, the president is not doing so hot.
Overall, Trump has a 64% disapproval and 21% approval amongst all millennials. He fares even worse with African Americans (79% disapproval, 13% approval), Asian Americans (78%-11%) and Latinos (77%-11%).
He does somewhat better amongst whites, with 53% disapproval and 30% approval.
The poll surveys adults age 18-34 in various demographics, and was previewed on MSNBCs Morning Joe on Wednesday.

Millennial and Gen X voter turnout increased in 2016
and among millennials, black turnout decreased

Which makes me wonder how much voter suppression & machines conviently going down in urban centers. Also Republican efforts were designed to make registering as confusing as possible. I've seen the changes first hand in Arizona, you don't see stands registering people to vote anymore in places like libraries due to Republican rules on registrations.

(14,854 posts)It's entirely the fault of people who didn't vote for Trump, you see. And the young people. All the young people, including the ones who voted for HRC.

THAT is the number that matters.

(5,914 posts)They have the lowest turnout of all the age groups. Overall, only 58% of Ameticans voted, which is humiliating enough.
