Melania can you please have a talk with your douchebag husband

and explain to him in terms that even a self absorbed aѕѕhole like him can understand, acting like a Chinese knockoff of Marie Antoinette is not helping to build his brand, it's making it even more toxic.

We know you can't make a psychopath like your douchebag husband feel empathy and care about anyone but himself, but if you can convince him that faking empathy will help build his brand and make him money maybe we can get these poor people some help before they die.

nor do all knock-offs come from China.

Since I've been working a lot with Chinese students recently - and have a number of friends who are chinese - it jumped out at me. Perhaps a stereotype that is better left on the cutting room floor?

7. Just out of curiosity how many times have you traveled to China?

If it's less than 30 please spare me the lecture, because I'm sure I know more Chinese people than you do, and I also deal with companies who lose tens of millions of dollars a year due to counterfeit products that come with China. If these Chinese students you've recently been working with claim that counterfeit products are not readily available in China then they are lying to you, and I won't censor myself, because it's the truth. The reason I picked China because its where Trump has his "Make Again Great" product line manufactured.

10. there's a grain of truth (sometimes more) in most stereotypes -

Doesn't mean they should be used outside the context in which it is true statement - rather than a derrogatory slur.

My main client (one of the top 1000 businesses in the country) for more than a decade had a large subsidiary in China. I negotiated a great number of contracts for both the primary and the Chinese sub in China and elsewhere both internal, and with independent private and public entities. I m aware of the challenges of protecting IP in (and coming from) China. As I'm sure you are aware, China is not alone on this matter.

Honestly discussing a problem with counterfeit goods, even specifically counterfeit goods from China, is different from using Chinese as a stand-in for fake.

Although I had an alpine duo, and a few Native American women (superimposed on a dark-skinned doll with very european features), rather than Marie Antoinette.

You know he is bribing her to stay with him by buying her $50K jackets and dozens of stilettos. Or should I say "Having you the taxpayer buy her jackets and stilettos".
