I didn't see Hayes' interview tonight. I stopped watching his show because he doesn't seem to know how to take on right wingers. It got too frustrating to see him appear to get flustered and be at a loss for words.

His just letting them talk never come off as skillful to me. It looked more like he didn't know how to deal with them. What I've read here in this thread sounds like more of the same. I hope he can learn how to get the job done. He's smart and we need him to hone his debating skills.

I say this because he did not say to much on purpose. What he did was a really good job of was letting that repuke prick hang himself. Personally, I say good job Hayes. Yes, others on MSNBC challenge these pukes and makes their lives miserable. I have noticed that when Hayes has people on he lets them hang themselves and later down the line the others have them on their shows and use their own material from Hayes's show to embarrass the crap out of them and make them look bad. I think it is really intended to work well by the end as a group job.

He is well known in Nevada to be a con man, a perennial candidate, a loudmouth, and a complete asshole. He keeps running in primaries and almost always loses. On the off-chance he wins the primary, he loses the general election. He lost the 2010 rethug primary to Sharon Angle, ffs.

His father was Jerry Tarkanian, a college basketball coach, and he relies on name recognition.

Somebody should have warned Chris. Still, he really needs to handle difficult talkers better. And to shut off his mike off camera.
