How many deaths will it take for NRA to realize?

You might think it is not my busisness as non American and that I'm not concerned.

But I feel concerned simply as a human being.

Why the hell in our modern countries, a private would need a gun at home?

How many mory more mass shooting before the 2nd amendment supporters realize the lethal danger of guns?

What is the highest ? People having saved their lives by keeping a gun at home or innocents died exactly for the same reason?

This is just 1 incident. This happens many times per hour in this country, though with less fatalities.

If the accumulation of deaths, if 20 children at 1 time, after VA Tech & Aurora, this is a drop in the bucket to them.

Collateral damage is probably what they would call it.

Media here report many of such stories.

It is really shocking the way they try to minimize the true real responsability they have in all these deaths.

Do you have any idea how many lone gunman drills I had to do with my first grade class?! The classroom doors could only be locked from the OUTSIDE too. The principal wasn't even aware of this little fact until I brought it up. After Sandy Hook I returned to my class and had to plan how I would defend my class with a fire extinguisher and a jump rope. This country gets more fucking corrupt by money by the hour.

When money ends to be a simple tool and become a target on itself, the worst happens.

I'm a long time an admirer of your History and what goodwill men and women have accomplished.

Until the last years. It is sad to watch those poor human being, taking the people hostage in the name of money...

When money counts more than the lives of human beings, Christ's teachings are an afterthought. The NRA is an immoral organization, made up of immoral people. Nothing highlights the weakness of unregulated capitalism more than the NRA's stranglehold on the nation's laws.

We don't need a theocracy. We need basic morality. Placing religion above country only empowers those who want create immoral actions in the name of religion. If basic morality is the mainstay of a society, institutionalized religion is not needed.

which wants to keep religion out of politics. Ron Reagan does commercials for them and they are witty and light, not all doom and gloom. The "Moral Majority" can go to Hell as far as I am concerned.

Not joking, not exaggerating. Either the NRA exists or we do; they are the terrorists. They are no different than the people who send money in the mail to ISIS.

All same terrorists and killers.

And they can try to disguise it and search any difference, there is not any.

Go explain to a victim's family they should be relieved : their relative was not killed in a terror attack...yes comforting for sure...

murdered by guns at an alarming rate. It is a human rights issue.

I don't understand the need for guns and I never will. I have lived my whole life without them and have managed quite well. I think it is just fear, people in this country live in fear. I would love to see more gun restrictions and ideally I would like to see them eliminated, although I know that is unrealistic.

The BBC had a piece on Belgium being the European gun store. Anyone can have an opinion on our politics - we are fair game. However, I would not scream about blood in the USA if my country dealt guns too. Just my thoughts.

I'm not saying everything is going well or that we are better or smarter or whatever than you are.

However, let point a detail : there is a huge difference between allowing guns and dealing with people who have broken laws.

And Belgium is far from being the European gun store...

But yes, I agree, problems exists. Antwerp is the second largest port in Europe with an enormous activity. EU laws made goods enter and exit easier and travel thru the common space almost without any control.

To conclude, please accept my apologies if I have offended you. it was not meant.

Maybe if some dude or dudes mow down 10,000-15,000 people in a single setting. Or 200 pretty, blonde haired, blue eyed females getting gunned down at once at a blonde beauty pageant. Absent that, not one shit of a thing will be done.

Look, tens of thousands of people will die from gunshot wounds this year, as last year, as the year before. And nothing has been done.
