When I was watching the news on TV just after the massacre, a local reporter was giving the latest updates with the south part of The Strip behind her. There were bright neon signs of casinos behind her: MGM Grand, New York New York, and so on. In the upper right of the screen, one name all in caps stood out against the black sky: Trump.

He isn't coming here because he cares. He's coming because he wants to protect his brand.
