to clean up all of our vomit and tears since the election. Soon we will need buckets and mops since paper towels won't be enough to last for over 3 more years.

I had to step away for a bit yesterday.

If you have woods near your home, a walk through them will make you feel better.

6. I stepped away a bit yesterday to play with our pig dog...

...wrestling for her favorite knotted rainbow rope toy.

She hangs on even when I've lifted her off the ground and I'm swinging her around. Then she lets go so I can throw it and she can retrieve it for another round.

I like the rope game better than her dog-spit-soaked-tennis-ball game. I'll be napping when she'll shove her dog-spit-soaked-tennis-ball-of-the-day in my face. She is a destroyer of flat tennis balls discarded by the high school, but first she has to chase them.

It's possible I should hunt pigs with her, pigs being the most dangerous animal in the California forests, but I'm mostly vegetarian.

They'll all comfort me when I'm feeling down, but it's the wild eyed, one blue eye one brown, pig dog who is the most enthusiastic believer in play therapy.

We desperately need Brave reporters to go into the countryside and show what is really happening.

Sixteen dead my ass.

5. I am hoping the cheering is a calculated move to praise Trump's ego in order to get needed aid.

Everyone with a working brain stem knows Trump is nicer to those who offer him praise no matter how much of a boor he is by nature.

So, maybe - just maybe - (I hope) they are cheering for survival.

As sad and tragic as that sounds.

To be reduced to cheering for an insensitive oaf for crumbs tossed their way.

But the thought of anyone cheering him for real is worse in some ways.

he brought on the plane w/ him. There weren't more than 50 people in that room. No native would have cheered him chucking a roll of paper towels. His staff thinks we are all fools.
