No talent homophobic shitgibbon is the correct term.
He's apparently thinking of retiring. From what??? Jackass hasn't worked in years. I hope Family Guy has dumped him

(56,177 posts)Wish I could post a link from my phone. He apparently slammed a movie between a 17 year old guy and 22 year old, so all the underage actresses he's hit on called him on his hypocrisy

(58,724 posts)My view is that his films are hit and miss. Salvador is a good one, in my opinion.

(16,858 posts)Not just a typical Hollywood diva, his Twitter personality is his real life self.

(58,724 posts)I was only disputing the OP calling him a no-talent actor. I agree with your assessment.

(18,837 posts)I watched "Casino" yesterday for what had to be the 100th time.
I have no complaints about his performance as Lester Diamond, Sharon Stone's scum-of-the-earth boyfriend.
Still think John Carpenter's "Vampires" is a masterpiece.
I've been a fan of Sammy Hagar and Alice Cooper for the duration of their careers. Both Republicans (although I do not believe either falls into the "teabagger" category).
There's no question that, in real life, Woods is far from "admirable."
I just can't dismiss his entire career as a result of that.
As far as "hasn't worked in years," he was on Showtime's "Dice" with Andrew Dice Clay two weeks ago, and he's going to be on tonight's episode as well. Yes, Clay built a career on racism, homophobia, and misogyny. The "Dice" show was popular enough to be in its second season. That doesn't wipe the slate clean for anything Clay has said now, or in the past.
It's everyone's personal choice to separate the "artist" from the "art." Woods is an actor. Outside of that, there's not a lot for him to be proud of.

(63,208 posts)James Woods hates when people call him a coke addict. In fact, James Woods has sued people who've accused him of being addicted to cocaine.
Yes, even though James Woods has a history of putting the moves on women 40+ years his junior, don't ever tell anyone that James Woods is a coke addict.
It would be slanderously cruel and irresponsible to suggest that James Woods is a coke addict, so even if you want someone to accuse James Woods of being hooked on cocaine, you won't find me claiming that James Woods is a cokehead.

(2,120 posts)Look this dickhead up on IMDB.com and the above is what comes up. Yeah, he must be hard-working to be known best for his role in a movie 33 years ago.
Last thing I saw him in was "Scary Movie 2" back in 2001 - a high quality film involving projectile vomiting, clown rape and talking about farting in someone's mouth.
Remind me why we should care about this nobody or anything he does or says?
