Just Would Have Wished Hillary

Would have pushed Trump back from her space during the debates...With some kind of Clever well thought out
statement...I think it could have changed everything....

To most people Trump appeared to look like psychopath standing closly behind her with his heavy Nose breathing shit.

She should have turned around and asked him to "Back The Hell UP" Just My Opinion

What she chose to do instead showed how unique she is, because most people would have either:

1) gotten flustered or lost their train of thought.

Or

2) Confronted him.

Despite his bullshit, she remained focused, respecting those who asked her questions.

I know women who were previously ambivalent about Hillary, becoming instant fans of hers because of her composure and grit in that one debate.

3. She trounced him in all the debates. They weren't the problem.

And his evilness was always apparent. That wasn't the problem.

The problems were vote suppression of millions of votes, the James Comey letters, and Russian meddling and collusion with the DT campaign.

And the other problem is that some votes in our country are worth a lot more than others -- so a candidate can win by almost 3 million votes and still lose.

4. So you're saying the crazy psychopath bully is the winner in that situation?

And it's incumbent on the victim of the stalking to have fought back?

The faux-pas wasn't Trump's but Hillary's? That's why she lost?

Wow. Now I understand how we can win elections. Be ignorant, psychologically unbalanced, vulgar, and inappropriately aggressive. Why can't our Democratic candidates be more like that! We'd win every time! (No sarcasm tag necessary.)

Most human beings have an instinctive sense of "personal space" - an invisible boundary extending outward from our physical bodies which varies in distance depending on whether the person approaching our personal space is a known friend, an unknown quantity, or a known foe.

Human beings also instinctively react to witnessing someone else's personal space being violated - regardless of whether they approve or not, they *know* when a violation is happening.

I watched that debate, it was absolutely excruciating watching Hillary just sticking to her debate points and totally ignoring Trump's utterly vile behavior.

For me, it did not demonstrate any sort of admirable control, it demonstrated lack of emotion, lack of strength/willingness to stick up for herself.

Voters respond to emotion, not appeals to rationality. A spark of honest anger from Hillary would have made a much bigger positive impact than her ignoring what was plainly a violation of her personal space, clearly visible to all who witnessed it. It may have helped a wavering "independent" voter or two appreciate that she was a fighter and not just a bloodless policy wonk.

Voters like fighters because they assume the politician will also fight for them.

I agree with you that it was a mistake for Hillary not to react.

11. Bush II gave Gore the WTF expression when Gore did something similar.

I think it helped Bush.

However, its really uncertain if reacting would have helped or hurt HRC.

I'll second guess HRC on lots of things, but not this.
