theocracy that has twisted the very tenets of Christianity until Christ himself couldn't even recognize it. Even assholes like Torquemada, or Oliver Cromwell, wouldn't recognize today's insane brand of 'evangelical 'christianity.'' Seriously.

To me, the blame lies directly in the laps of radical libertarian capitalists like Charles Koch, whose well-funded political machine has worked for years to carefully propagandize the 'christians' to become social Darwinists. Quite a twist for people who don't believe in evolution, eh?

And let's not forget the MIC. They are eager for war always, because they and their shareholders make money. So they poke other religions and incite our insane-religious base to be ready for the apocalypse. Because they will sell a lot of fucking weapons making that happen.

Problem is, if they do bring about the Armageddon promised by guys like Pat Robertson and other holy roller crazies, we'll all be dead and there won't be any more fucking money.

But, hey, a capitalist will sell you the very rope you're going to use to hang him.

Just sayin'.

Oh and I agree with the sentiment.

No idea why it was necessary to throw that in. Perhaps the OP should read more about Malala and what she's said and written.

...but for the fact Yankee Fans are a group or class of persons, and not an idea or concept.

You shouldn't disparage them, it might lead to an alert on your post.

I would suggest a better example, to the point I think you are trying to make, might be "I hate New York Yankee Fanaticism"

It was not religion that tried to kill her, it was extremism, thugs that use religion as a cover for them being thugs. I am not a Christian, but I have met many true Christians who I admire because they live their teachings and I can see them doing that.
