Joe gets ZERO points for calling out Trump now. Him & Mika had Trump on every damn morning letting him prattle on mindlessly. Mika would practically swoon. "My friend Donald" Ratings whores, the both of them.

That's what we are all trying to do--change people's minds about the GOP. And he's willing to get on TV and do that. I say good for him.

I have been voting Democratic for 27 years but before that I was voting Republican. Does that mean I can't say anything at all now? No.

... insanity (at least for now, anyway - who knows what tomorrow's ratings will call for) and still hold Scar accountable for his very prominent role in pushing Trump. Im not going to forget that just because he's now offended that Trump is coming after the media a little harder.

Personally I'd like to see him apologize for drinking the orange koolaide. That might help.

The GOP in general hates the Constitution and the 1st Amendment in particular.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Freedom of Religion? - Try being Muslim in America
Freedom of Speech? - Not if you aren't in love with Trump
Freedom of the Press? - Fake news
Peaceable Assembly? - Haven't had that in a long time
Petition for redress? - Try getting your little voice heard by your Congresscritter. Try and go see them and get arrested.

Then think about other Constitutional guarantees:

Unreasonable search and seizure? - Try flying and being pulled out of line for 'enhanced screening'
Deprived of property without due process? - Get stopped for a broken taillight with a large amount of cash - Asset Forfeiture.

Cruel and unusual punishment? - Go look at what is happening in 'private prisons'.

And so on.
